The year was filled with trips, family, friends, weddings, projects, challenges and new directions. Our kitchen project was completed with new cabinets and a new refrigerator.  If I do say so it came out smashing.  In May as part of my job with the  Nevada Diabetes Association. I went to Denver to present a program with my friend Martha Gould at the Center for Disease Control Diabetes Translation Conference. We had the honor of being the first presenters at this conference ever from Nevada. The Conference was fun and it gave me an opportunity to catch up with cousins Jeannette and Jerry and Carson and John.

June found us in Chicago for cousin Jason's wedding. Got our first up front and personal look at Audrey and Jamie's beautiful twin boys Charlie and Jack. From Chicago it was off to Cleveland to visit with Kevin, Lisa and Shannon and then on to New York for some business and much fun.  So many memories of times past and so much joy in reliving pre-theater cocktails at Sardi's. Loved Spamalot the special dinners at Cafe des Artiest, Alto's and DB's Bistro to name just a few of the places we ate our way through.  

We had wonderful family visit.  Aunt Bet's and Carson came out to Reno and we had a lovely day with them and cousins Rick and Delana Ruud.  I made several trips to Florida and Ashton and I took a few short trips including a spectacular trip to Sonoma for a great luncheon at the Mirimar Torres Winery. YUM! We have promised ourselves to do more such trips in the New Year.

Speaking of the New Year we have lots of projects planned  But this is not the time to talk of work. . just to talk about our blessings.. and we have so many.
